Whom do you believe in?

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you? Don’t these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God. Galatians 3:5

DAILY WORD:

Friends, in whom and what do you believe today? This is quit a difficult question for some people to answer.

The Word of God is so clear on this in Galatians 3 verse 5 above. The Message translation describes that God lavishly provides us with His presence in our everyday walk of life. Abraham trusted God with his entire being!

Let this passage of Scripture encourage you to trust God with everything you are experiencing in life. Allow God to direct your steps. I know that God will never direct you on the wrong path. Trust Him today!

Remain blessed.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we surrender to You today, our hope and trust is in You to direct our paths! Come and fill us with your love and give those in need a fresh start. In Jesus name. Amen

Fear & danger!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“When I was in danger, I called to the Lord , and He answered me. I was about to die, so I cried to You, and You heard my voice. Jonah 2:2 NCV

DAILY WORD:

Friends, fear occupy so many people’s lives today, they are fearful about so many things that they cannot control or change!

In Jonah 2 verse 2, Jonah cried out to God when he was in danger, the Scripture goes further to say that God heard Jonah’s cry! My question to you today is ” Have you ever cried out to God, when fear surrounded your life?”

Our Heavenly Father is ready and waiting for you to call on Him today. Let all of your fears and cares be made known to God and allow Him to take control! Just like God saved Jonah, He will save, protect and deliver you!

Remain blessed.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we surrender all of our fears and cares to You right now. Take control of every situation and deliver us from fear in Jesus name. Amen

Speak Life!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
A MAN HAS JOY BY THE ANSWER OF HIS MOUTH, AND A WORD SPOKEN IN DUE SEASON, HOW GOOD IT IS! – PROVERBS 15:23
 DAILY WORD:
Friends, words are very powerful for they can either build up, or tear down others.  Also foolish words can bring about our own destruction, for it is written; IN THE MOUTH OF A FOOL IS A ROD OF PRIDE, BUT THE LIPS OF THE WISE WILL PRESERVE THEM.  PROVERBS 14:3
We are also warned about gossiping for it is written; IN ALL LABOR THERE IS PROFIT, BUT IDLE CHATTER LEADS ONLY TO POVERTY.   ( PROVERBS 14:23 ) For after all; A WHOLESOME TONGUE IS A TREE OF LIFE, BUT PERVERSENESS IN IT BREAKS THE SPIRIT.  PROVERBS 15:4
Further, God has instructed us to encourage one another, for it is written; LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER IN ORDER TO STIR UP LOVE, AND GOOD WORKS, NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, AS IS THE MANNER OF SOME, BUT EXHORTING ONE  ANOTHER, AND SO MUCH THE MORE.  HEBREWS 10:24-25
So my dear friends, let us go out and speak words of encouragement to one another. Speak life and be the hope to the people around you today, it might just be the encouragement words needed by them to change their outlook on life or their situations! Let us be the salt and light bearers to the world!
Remain blessed.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we understand that our words have some much power. Give us wisdom today to speak life and not death to the world around us. Thank you for Your teaching and guidance in the Word on how we should ACT and talk each and every day. Amen

Your dependance!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Depend on the Lord and His strength; always go to Him for help. Psalms 105:4 NCV

DAILY WORD:

Friends, whom do you depend on in this world today? Do you place all of your dependance in an employer’s monthly salary, maybe your spouse, family member or a friend?

In Psalm105 verse 4 the psalmist encourages us to place our hope and dependance in God as our Source and our Helper. Its so easy in this world we are living in today to start placing our hope and dependance in material things and our employers, but God longs for us to place our hope and trust in..

The question remains now: “Will you trust God and place your dependance in Him and not in the world or it’s material things?” Take some time and think about this Scripture and question!

 Remain blessed.

 PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we surrender to You today, our hope and dependance lies completely in You! Thank you Father that You are always ready and waiting for each and every one of us to place our trust and hope in You. Amen

Cast your cares..

DAILY WORD:

Friends, the cares and burdens of this life can so easily way us down, but we have a choice in allowing these burdens to overwhelm us.

In Psalm 55 verse 22, God invites us to cast our cares upon Him. God furthermore promises to sustain us in life. We have a choice to allow this world and it’s cares to overwhelm us, or we can allow God to take our cares upon Him.

Friends, take the pressure of your shoulders and allow our Heavenly Father to take control of your circumstances. Allow Him to take the wheel and steer your life in the direction you should go!

So take the first step and allow God to take your burdens upon Him, don’t allow it to overwhelm you any longer!

Remain blessed.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your great love and care. Take our cares and burdens and lead us in the way we should go. We stand on your promised Word in Psalm 55 verse 22 and allow You to take the burden from our shoulders.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us – EPHESIANS 3:20 Amp

DAILY WORD:

Friends, what are your biggest dreams? So now that you have thought about the question, read Ephesians 3v20 again.

The Bible is very clear about the fact that God is able to do far more than we can think or ask for. The Amplified translation describes it by saying God will do superabundantly more than we can think or ask for, so my friends take the promise of God and apply it to your own life!

Get up, get going, ask by faith!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way. Mark 10:50‭-‬52 ESV

DAILY WORD:

Friends, in Mark 10 from versus 46 to 52 we read about the blind Bartimaeus sitting by the roadside, however as he heard Jesus walking by, he jumped up and started screaming for the attention of Jesus to be healed.

The story of Bartimaeus touched me deeply as it simulates so many people’s life’s today. How many of us are sitting on the sideline of life, whilst Jesus is walking by us? We dont respond like Bartimaeus did, he jumped up and started screaming for the attention of Jesus to be healed!

Friends, I want to encourage you to get up, through of your cloak like Bartimaeus did ( the cloak can represent many things like your past, your losses, hurts, pain and bitterness etc.) Do what Bartimaeus did, get up, call on Jesus and tell Him what you need. In the Scripture above, Jesus asked Bartimaeus what it is that he wanted, not that Jesus did not know, but more that Jesus wanted Bartimaeus to declare and ask by faith.

I encourage you to get up, start to call on Jesus and make your request known to Him. He will not fail you!

Remain blessed.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone reading this message today will get up and get rid of their past, I pray that you touch them with power and heal them physically and emotionally. Flood them with Your power and love in Jesus name. Amen.
