God’s best!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…you have not passed this way before.” Joshua 3:4, ESV

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, God desires to take you to new places in your life. He wants to take you to deeper places in your walk with Him, and He wants to take you into higher places of blessing in your life. Are you ready to go to places that you’ve never been before?

So many people today get stuck in a rut because they don’t want to get out of their comfort zone. They want to stay with what they know because it’s familiar.

But in order for you to reach your full potential, you have to be willing to step out into the unknown. You won’t ever walk on water until you step out of the boat! We all have areas where we can rise higher. Open your heart today and be ready to step out into the unknown.

Challenge for today: “Trust that the Lord will guide and order your every step. Begin to expect that the unexpected is on the way. Be ready to step out into new places.”
Remain blessed and know God wants the BEST for your future!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for bringing me increase in every area of my life. Thank You for taking me to new places. I expect that You are working behind the scenes in my life, and I open my heart to all You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

In God’s eyes

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed…” Psalm 103:13-14, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, it’s interesting to see how a parent views their new baby. It doesn’t matter what that baby looks like; it doesn’t matter if their head is still coned, if their nose is still squashed, if they cry or make a mess, that baby is the apple of its parent’s eyes. They see that child as the most beautiful, perfect creation. They are just as proud and excited as they can be.

Parents see their own children differently than other people do. As believers in Jesus, it’s the same way with our heavenly Father. You are the apple of His eye. No matter what, He sees you as His most perfect creation. He is proud of you. You are the joy of His heart. Sure, you may make some mistakes; you may fall; you may make a mess, but He is right there ready to pick you up, clean you off and calm your soul. In His eyes, you are an overcomer; you are victorious; you are strong. In His eyes, you are pure and whole.
Challenge for today, trust in His love, trust in His goodness, and trust that you can find safety and rest in His eyes.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for loving me and keeping me close to You always. I trust that You have my best interest at heart and that You are working in my life because You are my Father. I open my heart and mind to You to receive Your love in a fresh, new way in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Finding strength today

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, do you need strength for today? The scripture tells us that when we hope in the Lord, that’s exactly what we will get—strength! If you’ve grown weary and tired, overwhelmed by the cares of this world, it’s a clear sign that you need to change what you’re putting your hope in. Are you putting your hope in your job? The government? The economy? Another person? All of these things will change. But when you hope in the Lord, you are investing in the Rock of Ages. He never changes! He is the only solid foundation for your soul.
Challenge for today: “Declare out loud, “God, I place my hope in You. I trust that You are working behind the scenes in my life. I choose to rest in You.” Then, feed your hope and faith by meditating daily on the scriptures. As you renew your mind with the Word of God, you’ll find strength, you’ll find hope, and you’ll find His victory all the days of your life!”
Remain blessed!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for renewing my strength as I put my hope in You. I declare today that I love You and trust You. I know that You are working behind the scenes in my life. Fill me with Your peace and joy as I wait on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Be devoted

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, what are you devoted to in your life? Being devoted to something is simply being loyal by giving of your time, affection and resources. Many people today are devoted to certain restaurants, television programs and even their cell phones. There’s nothing wrong with any of that, but we have to examine our own hearts and see if we are being devoted to the people God has placed in our lives. Are we honoring others above ourselves? The world’s system says to “look out for number one—yourself,” but God’s system says “look out for others, and I will look out for you.”

Your challenge today: “As you examine your own heart and life, ask the Lord to show you ways that you can honor others. One way is by simply being faithful to your word. Be a person of integrity and honor. As you live your life devoted to one another and honoring others, you are actually honoring God. He will repay you for your kindness and reward you in this life and in eternity!”
Remain blessed today!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, I want to be a person of honor. Teach me to be devoted to others the way You desire. Fill me with Your love and help me to focus on eternity. I bless You and thank You for Your goodness in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Be excited about your life.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. Ecclesiastes 5:18

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, the Bible talks about how God has given us the power to enjoy what is allotted and appointed to us. That simply means that I don’t have the power to enjoy your life. You may have more success, more money, more friends or a better job, but if you put me in your life, I’m not going to enjoy it. We are uniquely designed to run our own race.

When we truly understand and embrace this, we won’t be tempted to compare or wish we had what someone else has. You won’t think, “If only I had their talent…” No, if God wanted you to have that talent, He would have given it to you. Instead, take what you have and develop it. Make the most of it. Don’t think, “If only I had her looks…” No, God gave you your looks. That’s not an accident. The life you have has been perfectly matched for you.

Your challenge today: “Now, you’ve got to do your part and get excited about your life. Be excited about who you are—your looks, your talent, your ability, your personality. When you’re passionate about who you are, it brings honor to God. That’s when God will breathe in your direction and the seeds of greatness in you will take root and begin to flourish!”
Remain blessed!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, I thank You for giving me the gifts, talents and abilities to enjoy life and accomplish Your will. Today, I choose to put my trust and hope in You knowing that You have equipped me for the destiny You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

All things are possible!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'” Matthew 19:26

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, are you facing something today that seems impossible? With man it may be, but with God, ALL things are possible! If you seem to be in an impossible situation, get with God! Sometimes it’s so easy to focus on our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He has a plan for your victory. He has a plan to give you a way out. He is making the things that seem impossible, possible. You can trust Him today. The Bible says that He has plans for your good, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Today’s Challenge: “Start believing and declaring, “I am with God, and with God, all things are possible!” Are your bills piling up? With God, all things are possible. Do your relationships need healing? With God, all things are possible. Is there sickness in your body? With God, all things are possible!”
Remain blessed, our God is greater than any struggle you face today!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for making a way where there seems to be no way. I choose to trust You and believe that all things are possible! Show me Your power today. Work through me to encourage those around me to trust You more in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Say What?

Say What?

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Since we have the same spirit of faith…we also believe, and so we also speak.” (2 Corinthians 4:13, ESV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, the Bible says, “The spirit of faith is in our words.” My question today is, “What’s coming out of your mouth?” Are you talking about how big your problems are, or are you talking about how big your God is?

As believers, our attitude should always be an attitude of praise—“Father, business may be slow, but I want to thank You that You’re supplying all of my needs.” “My circumstance may seem impossible, but thank You, God, that all things are possible with You!” We should always find a reason to give thanks!

This is what Jonah did. After complaining for eight verses, he had a change of heart in verse nine. He said, “God, in spite of my difficulties, I’m going to offer unto You the sacrifice of praise with a voice of thanksgiving.” While sitting in the belly of the whale, instead of complaining, he began to worship.” The next verse says that the whale spit him out onto dry ground, and he went on to fulfill his destiny.

Challenge for today: “If you feel like you’re in the belly of a whale, if you feel trapped, if things seem dark, remember, praise always precedes the victory! Open your mouth and declare His praises! Say what the Word says and watch the breakthrough come to pass!”

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father God, I humbly come to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. I commit my words and thoughts to You. I choose to say what the Word says. I choose to speak the truth and trust that You are working for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Plug In

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” (Isaiah 40:29, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends, everyone goes through seasons in life that seem overwhelming; times when you’ve felt drained of strength and power. But, you haven’t been left without hope. You haven’t been left without an answer. The God of heaven and earth is near you, and He promises to give you strength and might to overcome.

Where does this strength and power come from? It comes directly from God. When you connect with Him, you are connecting to your power source. It’s like plugging a lamp into a light socket. You “plug in” through prayer, reading the Word and worshipping Him. You “turn on” the switch by the words of your mouth—by declaring what God says.

Remember, you don’t have to let the difficult times overwhelm you.
Challenge for today: “Rise up and connect with Him because He is your source of strength! He promises to equip and empower you for victory in every area of your life!”

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your favor, strength and grace at work in my life. I turn my focus on You today. I turn my thoughts on You. I set my heart and love upon You because You are good. Thank You for filling me with might and power to overcome in Jesus’ name! Amen.

In deep waters.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep.” Psalm 107:24, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Friends in Psalms 107:23-24 is says: “They that go down to the sea and do business in deep waters, they will see the wonders of God.” You and I were created to do business in deep waters. In other words, we’re not supposed to have little dreams or little plans. We are supposed to have big dreams. We are supposed to go out into the deep things God has for us.

But understand, when you’re out there in the deep waters, you can’t touch the ground. You can’t see the shoreline, and at times, it can get a little rocky. You may not always see how things are going to work out. But, the scripture tells us that deep calls to deep. In other words, God is the one who has called you to the deep waters. He is with you, and He knows there are deep things on the inside of you. Remember, in deep waters, you are not alone. God is with you, and He’s causing those deep things inside of you to come forth.

If you feel like you are out in the deep today, if you feel like you are overwhelmed, remember, you are in the right place and God is with you. You will see His wonderful deeds in the deep, and you will fulfill the plan He has in store for you.

Today’s challenge: “Remember that you are not alone, in those deep waters, God is with you!” Trust Him.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father in heaven, I surrender every area of my life to You. I hunger for every single thing You have in store for me. I choose to trust You out in the deep waters knowing that You have good things in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
