The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23, NKJV
My dear friends, oftentimes people who aren’t fulfilling their destiny will try to discourage you from fulfilling yours. They may not do it intentionally, but they’ll tell you what you can’t do and how things won’t work out. They’re quick to remind you of all your impossibilities. Your relatives, co-workers and friends may try to talk you out of your dream, but that’s because God didn’t put that promise inside of them; He put it inside of you! You have to remember that other people don’t determine your destiny; God does. He holds your destiny in the palm of His hand. If you will keep believing, God will not only bring it to pass, He will do more than you can ask or think.
Friends, don’t let someone else’s unbelief keep you from believing. Don’t let other people talk you out of your dreams. It’s time to get into agreement with God. He says you are well able. He says you are equipped. He says you are qualified. He says you are anointed, called and appointed to fulfill every dream and desire He’s placed within you!
Challenge for today: “Believe in yourself, go out and make your dreams a reality. God is with you!”
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father in heaven, I trust that You are leading and guiding me today. I trust that You hold my future. I choose to tune out the discouraging voices and tune into Your Word. Fill me with Your peace and joy as You direct my steps in Jesus’ name. Amen.
God’s Word generates life, creates faith, produces change, frightens the devil, causes miracles, heals hurts, builds character, transforms circumstances, imparts joy, overcomes adversity, defeats temptation, infuses hope, releases power, cleanses our minds, brings things into being, and guarantees our future forever!
I encourage you today to start spending time in the Bible!
It will change your life!
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6, NKJV
Friends, in the Bible, David was known as a man after God’s own heart. What kind of attitude did he have? Here in Psalm 23, he says, “Goodness and mercy are following me.” David lived with an attitude of expectancy. One translation says, “God’s kindness chases me everywhere that I go.” David’s attitude was “something good is going to happen to me. Everywhere I go, I know God’s blessings are chasing me. Favor is following me around.” No wonder he saw God’s goodness! No wonder he overcame his obstacles and accomplished great dreams. He knew good things were chasing after him.
Do you know what’s chasing you right now? Not debt. Not failure. Not mediocrity. Not defeat. Not lack. Not at all! You are a child of the Most High God. You have been crowned with favor. You have been redeemed from every curse. God has set you apart as His own special treasure. When you look back in your rearview mirror, you’d better get ready because you have a tailgater! There’s something coming toward you at a high rate of speed. You know what it is? Blessings, favor, supernatural opportunities, restoration, divine connections—God’s goodness and mercy following you all the days of your life!
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, thank You for Your abundant grace and mercy. Today I look for Your goodness. I look for Your favor and blessings. I set my heart on You. Show me Your love in a new way today in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you? Don’t these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God. Galatians 3:5
Friends, in whom and what do you believe today? This is quit a difficult question for some people to answer.
The Word of God is so clear on this in Galatians 3 verse 5 above. The Message translation describes that God lavishly provides us with His presence in our everyday walk of life. Abraham trusted God with his entire being!
Let this passage of Scripture encourage you to trust God with everything you are experiencing in life. Allow God to direct your steps. I know that God will never direct you on the wrong path. Trust Him today!
Heavenly Father, we surrender to You today, our hope and trust is in You to direct our paths! Come and fill us with your love and give those in need a fresh start. In Jesus name. Amen
“When I was in danger, I called to the Lord , and He answered me. I was about to die, so I cried to You, and You heard my voice. Jonah 2:2 NCV
Friends, fear occupy so many people’s lives today, they are fearful about so many things that they cannot control or change!
In Jonah 2 verse 2, Jonah cried out to God when he was in danger, the Scripture goes further to say that God heard Jonah’s cry! My question to you today is ” Have you ever cried out to God, when fear surrounded your life?”
Our Heavenly Father is ready and waiting for you to call on Him today. Let all of your fears and cares be made known to God and allow Him to take control! Just like God saved Jonah, He will save, protect and deliver you!
Heavenly Father, we surrender all of our fears and cares to You right now. Take control of every situation and deliver us from fear in Jesus name. Amen
A MAN HAS JOY BY THE ANSWER OF HIS MOUTH, AND A WORD SPOKEN IN DUE SEASON, HOW GOOD IT IS! – PROVERBS 15:23
Friends, words are very powerful for they can either build up, or tear down others. Also foolish words can bring about our own destruction, for it is written; IN THE MOUTH OF A FOOL IS A ROD OF PRIDE, BUT THE LIPS OF THE WISE WILL PRESERVE THEM. PROVERBS 14:3
We are also warned about gossiping for it is written; IN ALL LABOR THERE IS PROFIT, BUT IDLE CHATTER LEADS ONLY TO POVERTY. ( PROVERBS 14:23 ) For after all; A WHOLESOME TONGUE IS A TREE OF LIFE, BUT PERVERSENESS IN IT BREAKS THE SPIRIT. PROVERBS 15:4
Further, God has instructed us to encourage one another, for it is written; LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER IN ORDER TO STIR UP LOVE, AND GOOD WORKS, NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, AS IS THE MANNER OF SOME, BUT EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER, AND SO MUCH THE MORE. HEBREWS 10:24-25
So my dear friends, let us go out and speak words of encouragement to one another. Speak life and be the hope to the people around you today, it might just be the encouragement words needed by them to change their outlook on life or their situations! Let us be the salt and light bearers to the world!
Heavenly Father, we understand that our words have some much power. Give us wisdom today to speak life and not death to the world around us. Thank you for Your teaching and guidance in the Word on how we should ACT and talk each and every day. Amen
Depend on the Lord and His strength; always go to Him for help. Psalms 105:4 NCV
Friends, whom do you depend on in this world today? Do you place all of your dependance in an employer’s monthly salary, maybe your spouse, family member or a friend?
In Psalm105 verse 4 the psalmist encourages us to place our hope and dependance in God as our Source and our Helper. Its so easy in this world we are living in today to start placing our hope and dependance in material things and our employers, but God longs for us to place our hope and trust in..
The question remains now: “Will you trust God and place your dependance in Him and not in the world or it’s material things?” Take some time and think about this Scripture and question!
Heavenly Father, we surrender to You today, our hope and dependance lies completely in You! Thank you Father that You are always ready and waiting for each and every one of us to place our trust and hope in You. Amen
Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. -Psalm 55:22
Friends, the cares and burdens of this life can so easily way us down, but we have a choice in allowing these burdens to overwhelm us.
In Psalm 55 verse 22, God invites us to cast our cares upon Him. God furthermore promises to sustain us in life. We have a choice to allow this world and it’s cares to overwhelm us, or we can allow God to take our cares upon Him.
Friends, take the pressure of your shoulders and allow our Heavenly Father to take control of your circumstances. Allow Him to take the wheel and steer your life in the direction you should go!
So take the first step and allow God to take your burdens upon Him, don’t allow it to overwhelm you any longer!
Heavenly Father, thank you for Your great love and care. Take our cares and burdens and lead us in the way we should go. We stand on your promised Word in Psalm 55 verse 22 and allow You to take the burden from our shoulders.
